China Isotope & Radiation Corporation (HKG:1763) said its subsidiary Shenzhen Zhonghe Headway Bio-Sci & Tech has obtained drug registration approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for its 50 mg Urea-13C powder breath test kit, according to an Oct. 9 filing.
The kit diagnoses Helicobacter pylori infection and is the first generic drug of its kind approved in China since the implementation of new drug registration regulations in 2017, the company said.
