Sheffield Green (SGX:SGR) said its Taiwan Branch received a letter from the Kaohsiung City Labor Affairs Bureau, Taiwan, regarding the alleged discrepancies between the actual work assigned and the job descriptions in the employment contracts of two Indonesian employees.

The bureau, in its letter dated Aug. 21, has invited the company to make representations under the Taiwanese Employment Service Act, according to a Monday filing to the Singapore stock exchange.

The company's shares were up nearly 3% in Tuesday's trade.

The human resource services provider has engaged a Taiwanese legal counsel to conduct a review and advise on all related legal and regulatory implications of the matter, it said.

Sheffield Green's business operations remain fully functional and operational, and its financials are not expected to be affected.
