Daikin Industries (TYO:6367) plans to invest 10 billion yen to build a factory in Tijuana, Mexico, dedicated to manufacturing data center cooling systems, Nikkei Asia reported Wednesday, citing Executive Officer Masaaki Miyatake.

The facility aims to support growing demand across North America driven by AI infrastructure expansion.

Daikin targets data center cooling revenue exceeding 800 billion yen by fiscal 2030, with plans to expand its presence in regional markets including Europe and India, the report said.
