Abbott Laboratories (ABT) secured US Food and Drug Administration authorization for its dual glucose-ketone sensing wearable device.
The Libre Duo 10 Day system can track glucose levels and alert people with diabetes of rising ketones that could lead to a diabetic ketoacidosis emergency, Abbott said Tuesday in a statement.
The company plans to launch the device in the US later this year.
