China Construction Bank Raises 50 Billion Yuan via Bonds Issue

China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) raised 50 billion yuan through the issuance of second tranche of its 2026 total loss-absorbing capacity non-capital bonds.

The offering comprises 35 billion yuan of four-year fixed-rate bonds with a 1.68% coupon and 15 billion yuan of six-year fixed-rate bonds with a 1.80% coupon, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Tuesday. The bank has a conditional redemption right after three years for the first type and five years for the second.

Proceeds will be used to strengthen the bank's total loss-absorbing capacity.
