Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) said Tuesday that it has formally established Global Transaction Banking as a single global business to expand its banking services across markets.
The company said the business combines transaction banking operations from its commercial banking and capital markets units in Canada and the US.
It will focus on payments, foreign exchange, trade finance, cash management and liquidity services, the company said, adding that the new structure will not change how it reports financial results.
