Cisco Systems Launches Sovereign Critical Infrastructure Portfolio in Canada

Cisco Systems (CSCO) said Tuesday it has launched its Sovereign Critical Infrastructure portfolio in Canada for government agencies and organizations operating critical infrastructure.

The portfolio includes networking, security, compute, collaboration, and Splunk security and observability technologies, which can be used on-premises or in air-gapped environments, the company said.

Cisco said the portfolio will allow clients to manage access and operations, including disabling remote access or shutdown capabilities.

Shares of Cisco were up 1.3% pre-bell Tuesday.
