Lotus Pharma Unit to License Two Alvotech Biosimilars in $150 Million Deal

Lotus Pharmaceutical's (TPE:1795) subsidiary, Lotus International, has agreed to acquire licensing rights to two early-stage biosimilar candidates from Alvotech in a deal worth up to $150 million, according to a Friday filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

The agreement for Durvalumab and Emicizumab grants Lotus semi-exclusive rights in the US and exclusive rights across several Asia-Pacific markets.

Consideration includes up to $5 million in combined upfront payments alongside milestone payments totaling up to $144.1 million.
