As the city embarks on a new phase of development, culture, sports, and their integrated advancement have become key drivers for elevating the city's overall capabilities. During the municipal Two Sessions, topics such as "empowering the construction of a culturally strong city," "anchoring the goals of building a sports powerhouse," and "deepening the integration of culture, sports, and tourism" became the center of heated discussions among deputies and committee members. They actively offered suggestions and insights on tapping into local cultural heritage, strengthening literary, artistic, and sports undertakings, and polishing the city's distinctive brand, pooling wisdom and strength for the high-quality development of the city's cultural, sports, and tourism sectors.

Where culture thrives, the city thrives, and the power of literature and art serves as a vital pillar for building a culturally strong city. Li Yongjie, a municipal political consultative conference member and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, stated that the federation will fully implement the spirit of the Two Sessions, focusing closely on the central tasks of the municipal party committee and government. Adhering to a people-centered approach, they will promote the regularization of literary and art volunteer services, improve the "on-demand" service model, expand the coverage of brands such as the "Foundation Strengthening Project" and "Village Spring Festival Gala," and channel quality resources toward grassroots levels to better meet the public's new expectations.

"We will delve deep into cultural roots and strengthen theoretical research and interpretation. Based on Shijiazhuang's historical, red, and modern urban cultural resources, we will systematically identify our cultural assets, refine and articulate them, and use theoretical achievements to guide creative directions, telling Shijiazhuang's stories well," Li Yongjie said. He added that, aligning with key milestones such as the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan and the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, literary and art workers will be guided to immerse themselves in urban renewal, industrial transformation, and rural revitalization, producing a batch of outstanding works full of contemporary spirit and Shijiazhuang characteristics, thereby contributing literary and artistic strength to accelerating the construction of a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital.

The thriving sports industry is a direct reflection of a city's vitality. Jin Fuzhong, a municipal political consultative conference member and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Sports Bureau, stated: "The sports system will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Municipal Party Congress and the Two Sessions, anchor the goals of building a sports powerhouse, and turn meeting decisions into tangible results through practical actions." Focusing on deepening mass sports and polishing the city's sports brand, Jin Fuzhong proposed: "We will improve a higher-level public service system for national fitness and promote the deep integration of national fitness with national health. We will expand mass sports brands such as the Shijiazhuang Marathon, New Year's Day Long-Distance Run, and City Ring Walk, strengthen local event IPs like 'Zhuang Super League' and 'Zhuang Basketball,' continuously increase public participation, and build a friendly and happy city."

Additionally, the integration of sports and education will be deepened, utilizing the youth U-series event platform to perfect the reserve talent cultivation chain. The effect of the Shijiazheng National Table Tennis Training Base as a "champions' blessed land" will be amplified, adhering to the scientific training philosophy of "three principles and one major" (difficulty, intensity, volume, and practicality) to nurture more outstanding sports prospects. By revitalizing existing urban spaces and utilizing the city's "golden corners and silver edges," public venues will be opened for free or at low cost, ensuring universal and accessible national fitness services. The deep integration of sports with education, business, and tourism will be actively promoted, introducing more high-level competitions and transforming event-driven traffic into urban development gains, fully unleashing the comprehensive value and diverse functions of sports.

Urban cultural symbols showcase a city's character, historical depth, and image. Chen Yongping, a municipal political consultative conference member and Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Museum, noted that the current visual identity of Shijiazhuang tends to favor a generic modern style, lacking unique local historical and cultural symbols. In response, Chen Yongping suggested using the Zhongshan Seal Script (Zhongshan Zhuan) as the core to establish a standardized and unified urban cultural visual identity system. This includes forming an expert team to advance standardized font research and development, issuing relevant usage regulations, and designating Zhongshan Seal Script as the "primary identifier of the city's cultural heritage," integrating it into various public visual scenarios to further enhance the city's recognition and cultural tourism soft power.

Bringing millennia-old cultural heritage to modern sporting events represents an innovative path for the integration of culture, sports, and tourism. In this regard, Gong Rui, a municipal political consultative conference member and Secretary-General of the Shijiazhuang Committee of the China Democratic League, brought forward a proposal to create a "Zhongshan Seal Script Cup" Shijiazhuang Marathon to empower the city's cultural and tourism integration and development. She suggested establishing a dedicated cultural identity for the event, incorporating Zhongshan Seal Script elements into the entire visual design of the race; arranging distinctive cultural scenes along the course and supporting activities such as ancient script popularization; linking cultural and museum venues to launch event-exclusive cultural tourism routes and creative products; and leveraging the event platform for the ongoing promotion of Zhongshan Seal Script culture. By using the marathon as a window to the outside world, a new city business card of "historical culture plus mass sports" can be created, empowering the upgrading and enhancement of the cultural, sports, and tourism industries.

Deputies and committee members have expressed that Shijiazhuang boasts profound historical heritage. In the next five years, they will continue to revitalize local historical and cultural resources, promote the coordinated progress of literary, artistic, and sports undertakings, facilitate the integrated development of culture, sports, and tourism, transform rich cultural resources into tangible development advantages, continuously enrich the city's cultural heritage and expand its external influence, and accumulate strong cultural, sports, and tourism strength for the construction of a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital.
