Midea Group repurchases 0.50 million A-shares, treasury stock rises to 179.52 million

Midea Group Co., Ltd. disclosed that on 24 August 2026 it bought back 501,100 A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange for future capital reduction. The repurchase price ranged from RMB 84.08 to RMB 86.28 per share, representing a volume-weighted average of approximately RMB 85.31. The transaction cost the company about RMB 42.75 million.

Following the repurchase, the company’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.50 million to 6.80 billion, a 0.0074% decrease from the previous balance. Treasury shares increased from 179.02 million to 179.52 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 6.98 billion.

The repurchased shares are held as treasury stock and have not yet been cancelled. All procedures were carried out in accordance with applicable rules of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing requirements.
