Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. (Bank of Guizhou) has announced an updated proposal to distribute a final ordinary dividend of RMB0.60 for every 10 H shares for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, according to a filing released on 9 June 2026.
Shareholder approval will be sought at the annual general meeting scheduled for 30 June 2026. If endorsed, the cash dividend will be paid on 27 August 2026. The ex-dividend date is 16 July 2026, while the entitlement record date is set for 24 July 2026 following a book-closure period from 20 to 24 July 2026. Share transfers must be lodged with Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 16:30 on 17 July 2026.
Dividend currency options: • Default payment: Hong Kong dollars (exact HKD amount and exchange rate to be announced). • Optional currency: Renminbi at RMB0.60 per 10 shares. H-share investors may elect to receive dividends in RMB; HKSCC Nominees Limited may elect RMB for all or part of its holdings.
Withholding tax framework: • Non-resident enterprise shareholders: 10% corporate income tax withheld by the bank. • Non-resident individual shareholders: generally 10%, rising to 20% where no treaty or a higher-rate treaty applies; refunds for lower treaty rates can be pursued upon submission of requisite documentation.
No warrants or convertible securities are affected by this dividend proposal. The board currently comprises two executive directors, three non-executive directors and five independent non-executive directors.
The bank reaffirmed that it is not an authorized institution under Hong Kong’s Banking Ordinance and is therefore not supervised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
