The volume-weighted average purchase price was approximately HK$9.19, bringing total consideration to about HK$2.99 million.
Post-transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 609.05 million shares from 609.38 million, a reduction of 0.0535%. The repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock, lifting the treasury balance to 9.45 million shares and keeping the overall issued share count unchanged at 618.50 million.
The buyback formed part of the mandate approved on 27 June 2025, which authorises the repurchase of up to 61.85 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 9.45 million shares, representing 1.53% of the company’s issued shares as of the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, Hygeia Healthcare is restricted from issuing, selling, or transferring any shares—including treasury shares—until 8 July 2026, 30 days after the latest repurchase.
