On Tuesday, Advasa Holdings (ADBT.US) made its trading debut on the US stock market, with shares falling more than 64% to $4.265 at the time of writing, against an IPO price of $12.
Advasa Holdings is a fintech company focused on earned wage access. Its FUKUPE platform enables employees to withdraw wages they have already earned before the official payday, and it can integrate with existing corporate human resources and payroll systems.
Currently, the company's operations are primarily concentrated in Japan, while it also has plans to expand into overseas markets such as Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
