Hygeia Healthcare trims float by 0.04%, repurchases 0.25 million shares for HKD 3.00 million

Hygeia Healthcare Holdings Co., Limited disclosed a repurchase of 248,000 ordinary shares on 17 April 2026, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under its existing buy-back mandate approved on 27 June 2025.

The shares were acquired at prices ranging between HKD 12.04 and HKD 12.12, representing a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 12.09 per share and a total consideration of HKD 2.99 million. All repurchased shares are being retained as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, Hygeia Healthcare’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 614.70 million shares, down 0.0403% from the previous day. Treasury stock rose to 3.80 million shares, while the company’s total issued share count remained unchanged at 618.50 million shares.

Cumulatively, the company has repurchased 3.80 million shares under the current mandate, utilising 0.61% of the 61.85 million shares authorised for buy-back. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring any shares until 17 May 2026.
