FIH Executes HK$1.73 Million Share Buyback, Boosting Treasury Stock to 7.13 Million Shares

FIH Mobile Limited disclosed that it repurchased 105,000 ordinary shares on 25 August 2026 via on-market transactions on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The buyback represents 0.013% of the company’s 781.42 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) outstanding as of 24 August 2026.

The shares were acquired at prices ranging from HK$16.30 to HK$16.60, with a volume-weighted average price of HK$16.49, for a total consideration of HK$1.73 million. All 105,000 repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares, lifting FIH’s treasury stock balance to approximately 7.13 million shares.

Following the transaction, FIH’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) stands at 781.32 million shares, while total issued shares remain unchanged at 788.45 million.

The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 22 May 2026, under which FIH is authorised to buy back up to 78.27 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 2.07 million shares, equivalent to 0.26% of the issued share count at the mandate’s approval date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals until 24 September 2026.
