Kingworld Pharmaceuticals Group Halts Acquisition of Hong Kong Drug Firm

Kingworld Pharmaceuticals Group (HKEX: 01110) has announced the termination of a planned acquisition.

The company's statement details that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kingworld Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Group Limited, has exercised its right under the terms of a memorandum of understanding to terminate the agreement concerning the proposed purchase of the entire issued share capital of a target company. The termination took effect immediately on June 15, 2026.

Following the termination, the subsidiary has requested the intended seller to refund the full deposit of HK$3.3218 million within five business days from the termination date.

The board of directors stated that ending the memorandum of understanding is not expected to have any materially adverse impact on the group's current financial position or business operations.
