The company paid an aggregate HKD 10.46 million for this tranche, and all repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation.
Including the latest transaction, the company has acquired 18.63 million shares between 17 and 25 August 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 3.27, for a total consideration of HKD 60.99 million. These shares represent approximately 0.16 % of the 11.75 billion shares in issue before the repurchase programme began.
All 18.63 million shares remain outstanding as at 25 August 2026 pending cancellation; therefore, the issued share capital presently stands unchanged at 11.75 billion shares.
The buybacks were executed under a shareholder mandate granted on 25 August 2026 authorising repurchases of up to 1.17 billion shares. To date, 3.20 million shares—about 0.03 % of the authorised limit—have been repurchased under this mandate. In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 24 September 2026.
