A significant shareholder of ARTA TECHFIN (00279) transferred shares from BNP Paribas to KGI Asia on April 28. The transferred shares had a market value of HK$221 million, representing 28.44% of the company's issued share capital.

Separately, ARTA TECHFIN announced that on April 20, 2026, the company proposed to place up to 123 million placement shares. This amount is equivalent to approximately 9.67% of the total issued share capital as of the announcement date, and about 8.81% of the enlarged issued share capital after the placement is fully allocated and issued.

The placement price was set at HK$0.490 per share, representing a discount of approximately 18.3% to the closing price of HK$0.600 per share on April 20. Assuming all 123 million placement shares are successfully placed, the gross proceeds from the placement are expected to be approximately HK$60.3 million, with the estimated net proceeds amounting to around HK$59.8 million.
