InvesTech Holdings Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Yu Qingrui as Executive Director, effective 14 August 2026. His term will run until 31 December 2027, with either party able to terminate the contract on three months’ written notice.\n\nMr. Yu, aged 54, specialises in property investment and trading in mainland China. His career began in the shipping and trading sector in 1989, progressing to general manager of a shipping company before becoming a private investor in 2003. Since 2011 he has served as property investment manager at a Shanghai-based marketing and management firm. He is currently an executive director of Future World Holdings Limited (stock code: 572) and Smart Fish Wealthlink Holdings Limited (stock code: 139), positions he has held since September 2014 and June 2016 respectively.\n\nUnder the service contract, Mr. Yu will receive fixed remuneration of HK$120,000 per annum (HK$0.12 million), payable monthly. The compensation and benefits committee determined the package with reference to his duties, responsibilities and prevailing market conditions.\n\nThe announcement confirms that Mr. Yu holds no shares in InvesTech Holdings, has no relationships with directors, senior management or substantial shareholders, and has not held directorships in other listed companies during the past three years beyond those disclosed.\n\nFollowing the appointment, the InvesTech board comprises three executive directors—Mr. Chan Sek Keung, Ringo (Chairman and CEO), Ms. Tin Yat Yu, Carol, and Mr. Yu Qingrui—one non-executive director, and three independent non-executive directors.
