Shenzhen Woer Heat-Shrinkable Material Co.,Ltd. (09981) saw its share price climb more than 6% during intraday trading before settling at a 5.02% gain, with the stock changing hands at HK$10.14 and recording a turnover of HK$22.558 million.

The company released its 2026 interim results, posting revenue of RMB 4.649 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.97%, driven by simultaneous growth across its three core business segments: communication cables, new energy vehicle products, and electronic materials. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 567 million, up 1.54% from the prior-year period.

For the second quarter of 2026 alone, the company generated single-quarter main business revenue of RMB 2.621 billion, representing a 19.89% year-on-year increase, while single-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders rose 9.01% to RMB 335 million.

During the reporting period, the electronic materials business continued to advance product innovation, leveraging its mature product portfolio and extensive customer base to maintain steady growth. The communication cable segment extended its upward trajectory, supported by the ongoing expansion of global computing infrastructure, rapid iterations of large language models, and developments in robotics and industrial automation, with high-speed copper cables remaining a key growth engine. Meanwhile, the group's new energy vehicle power transmission products sustained robust growth, underpinned by the continued development of the new energy vehicle industry and accelerated construction of charging infrastructure.
