CNGR Advanced Material Co.,Ltd. (02579) has unveiled its interim results for 2026, posting a robust financial performance marked by significant year-on-year growth across key metrics. The company achieved operating revenue of approximately RMB 33.584 billion, representing a solid increase of about 57.5% compared to the prior corresponding period. Profit attributable to owners of the parent company reached roughly RMB 1.3114 billion, climbing by an impressive 78.4% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 1.24, and the board has proposed a cash dividend of RMB 3.8 per ten shares, subject to applicable taxes.

During the reporting period, the company leveraged its technological leadership to deepen the coordinated development of its four major material systems—nickel-based, cobalt-based, phosphorus-based, and sodium-based—resulting in a continuously refined product portfolio and a further consolidated market-leading position. In the nickel and cobalt segment, the company maintained its global front-runner status, achieving breakthroughs in ultra-high nickel, medium-nickel high-voltage ternary materials, and high-voltage cobalt tetroxide technologies, thereby securing self-sufficiency in critical materials. Full-year shipment volumes and market share reached new record highs, with the company's market share in ternary precursors and cobalt tetroxide ranking first in the industry for consecutive years. Additionally, solid-state precursor shipments reached the hundred-ton level. In the phosphorus-based segment, the company achieved a substantial scale-up, with lithium iron phosphate product shipments ranking first in the external sales market. Strategic partnerships were established with several leading battery manufacturers, and the company secured and initiated development of upstream phosphate rock resources, reinforcing its foundation for sustainable growth. In the sodium-based segment, a technological breakthrough was achieved, with the 'development of high-performance sodium-ion batteries for wide-temperature applications' being selected as a provincial-level major scientific and technological project. Shipments exceeded 2,000 tonnes in the first half of the year, signaling the initial commercialization of this segment.

Throughout the reporting period, the company steadfastly advanced its 'global development' strategy, achieving milestone progress in the construction of overseas industrial bases and resource layout, which significantly enhanced its global supply chain security capabilities. In June, the first phase of the CNGR Morocco industrial base project achieved a thousand-tonne breakthrough in nickel-based material production, laying a foundation for large-scale production capacity to serve the European and North American markets. In Indonesia, the second phase of the Morowali base's nickel smelting production line—covering the conversion of limonite ore to nickel matte and nickel matte to high-grade nickel matte—was fully connected and commenced operations. The company's world-first oxygen-enriched side-blown nickel smelting technology continued to advance, substantially reducing comprehensive energy consumption. Through the acquisition of controlling interests in the Jama and Solaroz projects, the company made a counter-cyclical, forward-looking investment in Argentina's lithium brine resources, securing high-quality reserves exceeding 10 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, thereby safeguarding raw material supply. A joint venture agreement for LFP was signed with Korea's PoscoFM, initiating the construction of an LFP advanced materials manufacturing facility in Pohang, South Korea, to tap into the overseas energy storage market. Additionally, a formal cooperation agreement was reached with Germany's CRONIMET Group to jointly establish a used battery recycling plant in Europe, marking a key step in the 'global recycling' initiative. This underscores the coordinated advancement of a new materials ecosystem encompassing resource extraction, smelting and processing, material production, and secondary resource recycling.
