Bank of Guizhou Chairman Yang Mingshang Steps Down; President Wu Fan Assumes Acting Role

Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. announced that Chairman and executive director Yang Mingshang resigned from all positions on 8 June 2026 due to new work arrangements by the Guizhou provincial government. His departures include roles as Chairman, executive director, chairman of the Strategic Development Committee and authorised representative under Hong Kong listing rules. Yang confirmed no disagreement with the board and no matters needing shareholder attention.

The board credited Yang with strengthening strategic execution, advancing digital transformation and reinforcing risk controls during the current 14th Five-Year Plan period, which supported steady growth in key operating indicators and consolidated the bank’s foundations for high-quality development.

To maintain continuity in corporate governance, the directors unanimously appointed President and executive director Wu Fan as acting Chairman and legal representative, as well as Authorised Representative, effective immediately.

Following the changes, the board comprises: • Executive directors: Wu Fan, Cai Dong • Non-executive directors: Zhang Yan, Chen Duohang, Gong Taotao • Independent non-executive directors: Lee Hoey Simon, Sun Li, Chen Rong, Zhang Junjie, Xu Liang
