China Everbright Limited (00165) has issued a profit alert concerning a legal dispute over the equity transfer of Yingli International Real Estate Co., Ltd., which has resulted in litigation against the group, including a civil judgment from the Chongqing Fifth Intermediate People's Court and a related earnings warning for its interim results.

Based on the current judgment and after considering applicable accounting standards, the company will make corresponding adjustments in its 2026 interim results in accordance with relevant accounting and financial reporting standards. Due to these adjustments and financial risk exposure, the group expects to record a loss attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$2.06 billion for the 2026 interim period.

The board emphasized that the aforementioned accounting adjustments have not had a material impact on the group's daily operations or cash flow. Currently, the group's overall operational status remains normal. The company will issue further announcements in due course regarding any significant developments in this legal proceeding.
