CF PHARMTECH (02652) has announced that its independently developed long-acting inhaled dry powder candidate drug, ICF001, has received implied clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for the treatment of interstitial lung diseases, specifically covering idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF).

This latest approval follows the product's earlier clearance from the NMPA in March 2026 for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). With these approvals, ICF001 is now authorized for clinical research across four indications, encompassing both pulmonary vascular diseases and progressive fibrotic lung conditions.

The expanded scope of clinical trials underscores the company's progress in advancing therapeutic options for patients with serious respiratory and fibrotic disorders.
