Shares of FAMEGLOW (03774) surged over 58% during intraday trading, before paring gains to trade up 25.98% at HK$17.60, with turnover reaching HK$18.36 million. The sharp rally follows the announcement from Hang Seng Indexes Company on August 21, after market close, revealing the results of its periodic quarterly index review, which included the company's addition to the Hang Seng Composite Index.

The index changes are scheduled to take effect after the market close on September 4, becoming effective on September 7. Subsequently, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will correspondingly adjust the eligible investment universe for the Stock Connect scheme. Given that FAMEGLOW satisfies a series of criteria, including market capitalization and liquidity requirements, the company stands a strong chance of being included in the southbound trading channel under Stock Connect.

In a recent development, FAMEGLOW announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Sohadagenso Hong Kong Limited, has officially signed a technology development agreement with Hongkong Sunseeker Technology Limited, an enterprise-level AI transformation service provider. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration to develop a proprietary AI-powered anti-aging mobile application, leveraging Sunseeker's core AI models, as they jointly explore the "AI + anti-aging" digital intelligence sector.
