Goldwind Posts 24.67% Profit Growth in Interim Results, Driven by Strong Turbine Sales

Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (02208) has announced its interim results for 2026, reporting a revenue of approximately RMB 33.695 billion, an increase of 18.25% year-on-year. The company's profit attributable to shareholders reached approximately RMB 1.855 billion, up 24.67% compared to the same period last year, with earnings per share of RMB 0.43.

During the reporting period, revenue from the sales of wind turbines and components reached RMB 27.256 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 24.73% and accounting for 80.89% of the company's total operating revenue. From January to June 2026, the external sales capacity of turbines reached 12,364.38 MW, an increase of 16.19% year-on-year. The trend towards larger turbine models has accelerated significantly, with 6MW and above models becoming the company's main products. Notably, turbines in the 6MW (inclusive) to 10MW range accounted for over 65% of total sales capacity, while sales capacity for 10MW and above models surged by 105.57% year-on-year.

The company's order book remained stable during the period. As of June 30, 2026, the total external backlog of orders awaiting execution stood at 40,602.36 MW, comprising 4,515.40 MW from turbines below 6MW, 28,384.26 MW from 6MW (inclusive) to 10MW models, and 7,702.70 MW from 10MW and above models. Additionally, external orders secured from winning bids but not yet signed reached 10,356.72 MW, including 708.00 MW from below 6MW turbines, 7,427.72 MW from 6MW (inclusive) to 10MW models, and 2,221.00 MW from 10MW and above models. In total, external orders on hand amounted to 50,959.08 MW, supplemented by internal orders of 3,183.15 MW, bringing the company's total orders to 54,142.23 MW.

The company continues to advance its "Two Seas Strategy," focusing on accelerating domestic offshore wind development and expanding overseas market presence as core growth drivers. By leveraging technological breakthroughs to enhance product competitiveness and localization efforts to strengthen market penetration, the company aims to promote synergistic growth between offshore and international operations. During the reporting period, the group's international business generated sales revenue of approximately RMB 10.887 billion, up 29.98% year-on-year. Furthermore, overseas order backlog reached 9,489.02 MW, a year-on-year increase of 28.93%.
