STAR CM buys back 24,600 shares for HKD 0.02 million; treasury stake edges up to 0.25% of share capital

STAR CM Holdings Limited (STAR CM) disclosed that it repurchased 24,600 ordinary shares on 24 August 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 0.76 to HKD 0.88, representing a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 0.8309 per share. Total consideration paid was HKD 20,563.09, equivalent to approximately HKD 0.02 million.

Key capital movements after the transaction:

• Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 397.56 million from 397.58 million, a reduction of 0.0062%.

• Treasury shares rose to 0.98 million, bringing treasury stock to about 0.25% of the company’s 398.54 million total issued shares.

The buyback was executed under the repurchase mandate approved on 18 June 2026, which authorises STAR CM to repurchase up to 39.85 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 915,600 shares, or 0.23% of the company’s issued share count at the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, STAR CM is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 23 September 2026.
