ContiOcean targets RMB78.47 million asset purchase in Jiangsu to boost production capacity

ContiOcean Environment Tech Group intends to bid on 25 August 2026 for land, buildings and equipment in Rugao City, Jiangsu Province, offered via public tender by Shanghai Electric Yantong (Rugao) Construction Technology. The indicative bidding price is approximately RMB78.47 million (tax-exclusive); a mandatory deposit of RMB23.54 million has been arranged.

Assets under tender comprise: • Land: 67,736 sq.m. at No. 6 Kangye Road, Changjiang Town, Rugao City. • Property: 37,930.77 sq.m. of office, factory and ancillary buildings completed in 2021. • Equipment: ancillary facilities and 19 overhead cranes listed on the Online Trading System.

Funding will come from IPO proceeds, internal resources and/or bank facilities. Located in Nantong’s advanced shipbuilding and marine equipment cluster, the acquisition is aimed at expanding ContiOcean’s production capacity and enhancing high-end manufacturing capabilities.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, the deal would constitute a discloseable transaction, as applicable percentage ratios exceed 5% but remain below 25%. A completion confirmation and transaction contract must be signed within five business days of winning the tender. ContiOcean plans further disclosures upon tender outcome; the transaction remains subject to successful bidding, and shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
