Haidilao (stock code: "6862") released its financial results for the first half of 2026 on August 25. The company reported revenue of 22.337 billion yuan for the period, marking a 7.9% increase from the 20.7 billion yuan recorded in the same period last year.

Dining business revenue reached 21.16 billion yuan in the first half of 2026, up 5.3% from 20.1 billion yuan a year earlier. However, pre-tax profit declined nearly 3% year-over-year to 2.557 billion yuan, down from 2.627 billion yuan in the prior-year period.

Net profit for the period was essentially flat at 1.764 billion yuan, compared to 1.754 billion yuan in the same period last year. Core operating profit rose 4.7% to 2.513 billion yuan, up from 2.4 billion yuan previously.

Delivery business surges 121% to 2.05 billion yuan

Revenue from restaurant operations stood at 17.837 billion yuan in the first half of 2026, a 4% decline from 18.58 billion yuan in the prior-year period. As a result, its share of total revenue dropped from 89.8% to 79.9%.

Delivery emerged as the fastest-growing segment for the group during the reporting period. Delivery revenue surged 121.2% year-over-year to 2.051 billion yuan, up from 927 million yuan, with its contribution to total revenue climbing from 4.5% to 9.2%.

The growth in delivery revenue was driven by two key factors. First, an expanded product mix — single-dining items such as rice bowls saw significant year-over-year sales growth, transforming delivery from a hotpot extension scenario into an independent category covering everyday meals, with new product lines currently being refined and market-tested. Second, an expanded delivery network — the group has continued to advance its self-built delivery station model, improving coverage density and fulfillment efficiency while reducing pressure on in-store kitchen capacity, providing stable support for sustained order growth.
