Addvalue Technologies Ltd (A31) said on Aug, 25 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary Addvalue Solutions Pte Ltd has entered into an agreement with Viasat Inc to incorporate Addvalue’s Inter-satellite Data Relay Service (IDRS) into Viasat’s HaloNet managed service portfolio for U.S. Government customers.

Under the arrangement, Viasat will lead marketing and delivery of the IDRS capability to U.S. Government agencies and their suppliers, providing a single procurement channel that combines terminals, airtime, integration and mission support.

IDRS connects low Earth orbit satellites to the ground through Viasat’s geostationary L-band network, offering up to 99% coverage of each orbit with latency below two seconds, which supports immediate tasking, real-time data downlinks and rapid anomaly response.

Addvalue will continue to manufacture and supply IDRS terminals and services, while Viasat can market the solution under the brand “IDRS-enabled by Addvalue.”

The IDRS service is already in commercial use by Earth-observation, small-satellite constellation and in-orbit servicing operators.
