Sunac Services Holdings Limited announced that its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 13 August 2026 approved the adoption of a new share option scheme, with 95.58% of votes cast in favour and 4.42% against.
A total of 1.65 billion shares were voted, representing approximately 55.07% of the 2.99 billion shares entitled to vote. The resolution grants the Board authority to: 1) issue options under the new scheme; 2) allot and issue shares upon option exercise up to a limit of 10% of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) as at the approval date; 3) administer, modify or amend the scheme in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules; and 4) execute all related transactions and agreements.
As of the EGM date, Sunac Services had 3.03 billion issued shares, including 28.50 million shares pending cancellation that carried no voting rights. No shareholders were required to abstain from voting, and no treasury shares were held. All directors attended the meeting either in person or electronically, and Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited acted as scrutineer.
