Kindstar Globalgene Technology (Kindstar Global) disclosed a share buyback executed on 30 June 2026 under its HKEX mandate.
The company repurchased 55,000 ordinary shares on-market at prices ranging from HK$0.94 to HK$0.99, for a total consideration of HK$0.05 million. All repurchased shares will be held as treasury shares.
Post-transaction, the number of issued shares excluding treasury stock decreased by 55,000 to 1.03382 billion, trimming the free-float by 0.00532%. Treasury shares rose to 7.50 million, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.04133 billion.
The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 5 June 2026 that authorises repurchases of up to 103.43 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now total 0.38 million shares, or 0.03713% of the company’s issued share base on the mandate date. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Kindstar Global is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 30 July 2026.
Management confirmed that the repurchase complied with all Main Board requirements and that no material changes have occurred to the explanatory statement filed on 24 April 2026.
