HBM Holdings Added to Hang Seng Composite Index, Enabling Future Stock-Connect Eligibility

HBM Holdings Limited announced that Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited will include the company as a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite Index (HSCI) with effect from 7 September 2026.

The inclusion positions HBM Holdings’ shares to satisfy the criteria for trading under both the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect programmes once added to the HSCI.

The board stated that becoming part of the HSCI signals strong market recognition of the group’s business performance and value. Management expects the development to broaden the shareholder base, improve share liquidity and raise the company’s profile in the capital market.

The announcement was authorised by Chairman and Executive Director Dr. Jingsong Wang on 24 August 2026. As at that date, the board comprised two executive directors—Dr. Jingsong Wang and Dr. Yiping Rong—and four independent non-executive directors: Dr. Robert Irwin Kamen, Dr. Xiaoping Ye, Dr. Albert R. Collinson and Ms. Weiwei Chen.
