Shares of INNOVENT BIO (01801) opened more than 6% higher on Thursday, extending gains to 6.49% at HK$106.60 with turnover reaching HK$28.73 million in early trading.

The rally follows the company's release of its 2026 interim results, which showed total revenue of RMB 8.618 billion under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), representing a year-on-year increase of 44.8%. Product revenue climbed 56.7% to RMB 8.202 billion, while net profit for the period surged 50.2% to RMB 1.253 billion, already surpassing the full-year 2025 profit level within just the first half.

The strong performance was driven by the continued success of the company's "dual-engine" strategy focusing on oncology and chronic disease treatments. The commercial product portfolio has now expanded to include 20 drugs.

In the interim report, INNOVENT BIO also outlined its development goals for 2030, targeting total revenue between RMB 35 billion and RMB 40 billion. On the global innovation front, the company aims to advance at least five molecules into global multi-regional Phase III trials by 2030, achieve product launches in key European and US markets, and begin generating overseas product revenue.

Additionally, INNOVENT BIO officially announced its third major strategic transformation, transitioning from a leading Chinese biopharmaceutical company to a globally competitive first-tier biopharmaceutical enterprise.
