JIANGXI COPPER (00358) shares climbed more than 6% in Hong Kong trading, last up 6.45% at HK$38.64 with turnover reaching HK$147 million.

The company released its 2026 interim results, posting revenue of approximately RMB 305.854 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.46%. Net profit attributable to shareholders surged 99.91% to around RMB 8.897 billion, with basic earnings per share of RMB 2.58.

According to the announcement, the revenue growth was primarily driven by changes in product prices and sales volumes. JIANGXI COPPER reported steady increases in output across its major products during the reporting period. Cathode copper production reached 1.2604 million tonnes, up 5.44% year-on-year; silver output totaled 749.78 tonnes, rising 6.55%; copper processing product volumes grew 8.40% to 1.0368 million tonnes; and sulphuric acid production remained largely flat at 3.4721 million tonnes.
