On 26 August 2026, Weichai Power Co., Ltd. released a notice to non-registered shareholders confirming that the English and Chinese versions of its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) circular are now available on both the company’s website (www.weichaipower.com) and the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk). Printed copies have been dispatched only to investors who previously elected hard-copy delivery.
In line with Rule 2.07A of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules, the company has formally adopted an electronic-only dissemination model for all future corporate communications, replacing routine paper mailings. Shareholders who hold H-shares via banks, brokers, custodians, nominees or HKSCC Nominees Limited must provide a valid email address to their respective intermediaries to receive electronic notifications when new materials are published.
Investors preferring hard-copy documents can continue to do so by completing and returning the reply form enclosed with the notice or by emailing print@weichai.com.hk. Requests will be fulfilled free of charge through the company’s H-share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited.
Weichai Power cautions that shareholders who do not supply a functional email address may miss publication alerts and will need to monitor both the company and HKEXnews websites proactively. Enquiries can be directed to the hotline at +852 2295 3138 during business hours or via the dedicated email address provided.
