Wing Lee PPT (00864) has issued a profit warning, expecting a net loss of approximately HKD 54 million to HKD 56 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026. This compares to a net loss of about HKD 165 million in the same period of 2025.

The anticipated reduction in the net loss is mainly due to a lower decline in the fair value of the group's investment properties during the six months ending June 30, 2026, whereas the decline was higher in the same period of 2025.

The group also expects other comprehensive expenses of approximately HKD 17 million to HKD 19 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to other comprehensive expenses of about HKD 30.7 million in the same period of 2025. This is primarily due to the continued decrease in the fair value of the fund and the fund's properties during the six months ending June 30, 2026.

These unrealized valuation changes, which will not be reclassified to profit or loss, are non-cash items and do not affect the group's daily operations or cash flow. Total comprehensive expenses for the six months ending June 30, 2026, are expected to be between approximately HKD 71 million and HKD 75 million, compared to total comprehensive expenses of about HKD 196 million in the same period of 2025.
