Finsoft Financial Investment Holdings Limited reported FY2025 revenue of HKD 45.53 million, down 7.2% year-on-year, as the core financial-trading software solutions segment contributed 93% of turnover at HKD 42.32 million.

Gross profit slipped 8.3% to HKD 24.76 million, while group net loss widened slightly to HKD 13.20 million (FY2024: HKD 12.34 million), translating into a basic and diluted loss per share of 2.55 HK cents.

Money-lending revenue rose 40.8% to HKD 3.20 million on higher average lending rates, though an impairment charge of HKD 2.35 million on loans and interest receivables offset the gain. Loan receivables (net) stood at HKD 22.71 million at year-end; 18% was due from the largest borrower and 56% from the five largest borrowers.

A HKD 0.35 million impairment on consideration receivable linked to the Metrotec acquisition, together with a HKD 0.32 million fair-value loss on listed securities and a HKD 0.34 million fair-value loss on investment properties, also weighed on results.

Finsoft Financial completed a rights issue in February 2024, issuing 378.17 million new shares and raising HKD 26.51 million net. Year-end cash and cash equivalents totalled HKD 11.70 million, supporting a current ratio of 2.0. The group had minimal gearing, with lease liabilities of HKD 6.88 million and a gearing ratio of 0.5%. Net assets amounted to HKD 38.54 million.

The board recommended no final dividend. Management will continue to invest in R&D for its trading-software platform, expand IT services through new partnerships, and tighten credit controls in the money-lending arm while exploring AI-related opportunities to drive growth.
