Bukit Sembawang Estates Clears All Resolutions, Confirms 22-Cent Dividend at Jul, 31 2026 AGM

Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited (B61) said that shareholders passed every resolution tabled at its 60th annual general meeting held on Jul, 31 2026.

The meeting adopted the directors’ statement and audited financial statements for the year ended Mar, 31 2026. Shareholders also approved a final dividend of 4 cents per share and a special dividend of 18 cents per share, bringing the total payout to 22 cents per share for the fiscal year.

All directors standing for re-election—Independent Directors Ong Sim Ho and Tan Swee Yiow—were returned to the board. Chairman Koh Poh Tiong, who retired after more than nine years of service, was not up for re-election; he will be succeeded by Tan Swee Yiow.

Deloitte & Touche LLP was re-appointed as external auditor until the next AGM, and directors’ fees of 491,750 Singapore dollars for the financial year were approved. Shareholders also granted the board a general mandate to issue new shares representing up to 50% of the company’s issued share capital, with a 10% limit for non-pro-rata issues.

The poll results for all seven resolutions showed approval rates ranging from 94.50% to 99.89%.

Chief Executive Officer Chng Kiong Huat presented updates on the group’s financial performance, project pipeline and business strategy, while management addressed shareholder questions on land bank utilisation, dividend policy and workplace safety. The AGM concluded at 12:10 p.m. after all official business was completed.
