CONTIOCEAN Moves to Expand Capacity Through Jiangsu Asset Acquisition Bid

CONTIOCEAN (02613) has announced its plan to submit a tender on August 25, 2026, for the proposed acquisition of assets being sold via public auction by the seller, Shanghai Electric Yanzhu (Rugao) Construction Technology Co., Ltd. Under the terms outlined in the public tender notice, the winning bidder will be required to sign a transaction confirmation agreement and a sale contract with the seller within five business days of being declared the successful bidder.

The land in question is situated at No. 6 Kangye Road, Changjiang Town, Rugao City, Nantong, Jiangsu Province, in the People's Republic of China, covering an approximate site area of 67,736 square meters. The property, constructed in 2021, is located on this land and encompasses a total floor area of roughly 37,930.77 square meters. This property includes office buildings, factory workshops, and a security room, all listed in the online trading system's inventory. Additionally, the equipment package comprises a set of auxiliary facilities and 19 bridge cranes, also specified in the online trading system list.

Nantong is recognized as a hub with one of the most advanced shipbuilding and marine equipment supporting industries in the Yangtze River Delta and across China, highlighting significant agglomeration advantages in high-end equipment manufacturing. The proposed acquisition is intended to boost the Group's production capacity, aligning with the Company's fundraising objectives and the designated use of proceeds. Furthermore, this move will enable the Company to deliver efficient, high-quality professional supporting services, substantially enhancing the Group's high-end manufacturing capabilities and its ability to respond swiftly to market changes.
