Elate Holdings (00076) has alerted shareholders to an expected loss attributable to owners of between US$14.00 million and US$16.00 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, compared with a profit of US$40.30 million in 2024.
Management attributes the swing primarily to a one-off fair-value loss of approximately US$42.70 million on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss. The impact is partially offset by a one-off fair-value gain of about US$22.00 million on cryptocurrencies.
Adjusted performance strips out both non-recurring items. On this basis, the Group anticipates a net profit of roughly US$4.70 million to US$6.70 million, versus an adjusted profit of US$1.10 million a year earlier. The underlying improvement is driven by a US$5.10 million rise in gross profit, reflecting stronger sales volumes and re-aligned pricing across key customers in the electronic products manufacturing segment.
The figures are based on unaudited management accounts and may change after audit completion. Final results are scheduled for release on 30 March 2026. Until then, shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
