Q Tech (01478) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showing a mixed performance as revenue climbed but profitability slipped. The group recorded revenue of RMB 9.923 billion during the period, marking a 12.36% increase year-on-year, while profit attributable to equity holders of the company fell to RMB 276 million, down 10.49% from the prior corresponding period. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.232.
According to the company's announcement, the revenue growth was primarily driven by a notable surge in sales volumes across its key product lines. During the period, the group's camera modules for mobile phone applications, camera modules and LiDAR products for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, as well as camera modules and LiDAR products for automotive applications, saw sales volumes increase by approximately 30.1%, 46.9%, and 65.0% year-on-year, respectively.
This robust performance across these segments contributed to a combined revenue increase of about 14.0% for camera modules and LiDAR products compared to the same period last year. Notably, the combined revenue from camera modules and LiDAR products for automotive applications experienced substantial growth, soaring by approximately 117.3% year-on-year, underscoring the company's strong momentum in the rapidly expanding automotive technology sector.
