The government of Guizhou Province has issued a notice regarding personnel changes, recommending Yang Hongjun for the positions of Director and Chairman of Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. (06199).

Concurrently, it is proposed that Yang Mingshang step down from his current roles as Chairman and Director of Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. (06199).

According to publicly available information, Yang Hongjun has extensive experience working at the Guizhou branch of the Agricultural Bank of China.

He has held various senior positions there, including General Manager of the Business Department, Party Committee Member, and Deputy President.

Earlier this year, in March 2024, he was recommended for roles on the board of the Guizhou Rural Credit Cooperatives Association.

Yang Mingshang, born in November 1965, began his career at the Agricultural Bank of China's Guizhou branch in July 1994.

His tenure there spanned two decades, during which he managed departments including credit, corporate banking, and retail banking, rising to the position of Deputy President.

He transitioned to Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. (06199) in May 2014, initially serving as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and President.

His career later included leadership roles at Guizhou Financial Holding Group before he was recommended for the Chairman position at Bank of Guizhou Co., Ltd. (06199) in April 2021, officially assuming the role in July of that year.
